If the thought of growing your own fruit, vegetables and flowers appeals to you, there are allotment plots in Edenbridge available to rent.
There are two allotment sites in Edenbridge:
1. Access from Forge Croft
This is the larger one, east of the town centre, and managed day-to-day by the Edenbridge Allotment Gardens Association.
Cost: £34.62 a year (effective 01/04/2024) for a full plot, including insurance. Half plots are available. There are also kitchen facilities available for that well-deserved cuppa!

2.Swan Lane
The smaller allotment site off Swan Lane in the north of the town is managed direct from the Council office.

According to the National Allotment Society, an allotment can produce enough food to supplement a family’s weekly shop over the year if managed properly.
As well as financial gains, tending to an allotment can bring a huge sense of achievement as well as physical benefits. It’s a place to become part of a community of like-minded people and great for families too.
