On Thursday 3 September, Chair of the Council Cllr Angela Baker held a reception to bring together many of the fantastic people and groups who do so much for Edenbridge throughout the year.
The evening was all about saying a very well-deserved thank you to our local voluntary groups, community organisations, partners and individuals who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to support our town and the people who live here. Cllr Baker also paid tribute to Edenbridge Town Band, which is celebrating its 160th anniversary this year.
The evening also included the presentation of this year’s Edenbridge Gardens in Bloom Awards, with Neil Miller, Head Gardener at Hever Castle, joining to present the prizes. Thank you to everyone who took part and to the generous prize sponsors.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the evening, and to all those who continue to make such a positive contribution to Edenbridge.
