New – Outdoor Gym and Multi Use Games Area with Street Snooker – Stangrove Park. Work to start in September.

Edenbridge Town Council is delighted to show you a first look at the new all-inclusive outdoor gym and activity area at Stangrove Park.

Whether it be from the outdoor gym equipment that not only will help maintain bone density and reduce muscle loss, or the hype sensory basketball hoop to develop great shooting skills, there really is something for everyone. Smart technology and scannable QR codes allow access to demo videos and log and track your workouts. There is even equipment with a USB port to generate electricity to charge your mobile phone whilst working out.

The new activity games area will create inspiring, educational and innovative family inclusive sports areas designed to engage our community to develop a wide range of skills and learning within a social outdoor environment.

Families will now have an area that they can play together and even introduce healthy competition with our pro size street snooker and high quality, heavy duty HDPE score boards.

Parents, Grandparents, guardians and carers will be able to teach children colours, strategic thinking, and shooting skills and even help increase confidence and boost mental health promoting healthy living and the use of outdoor areas.

Wanting to work on your football skills? Try the incredible Crossbar King Target game as seen on Soccer AM.

The Spitals Cross playground provided a great new facility for young children to play outdoors. This new facility offers something for all ages to benefit.

The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is funding this exciting new facility for Edenbridge residents transforming some the available space at Stangrove Park

All equipment is made in the UK helping us support British companies.

Work is due to commence on Friday 18 September and expected to completed in November.
