- To plan for the future prosperity of the Town; provide services, sustain and support the diverse economy including the business, cultural, educational, health, sports and heritage activities undertaken within Edenbridge

- To encourage the community and other partners to work together for the mutual benefit of the town
- To protect and enhance the environment within and around Edenbridge
