Local authorities
There are three tiers of local government in Kent: Town/Parish Council, District Council and County Council. Each Council has its own responsibilities and provides different services.
Edenbridge Town Council – for matters relating to amenities such as parks and playgrounds, cemeteries and weekly market.
Sevenoaks District Council – for services such as Council Tax enquiries, rubbish and recycling, and housing.
Kent County Council – for services such as highways, schools and social care.

Edenbridge Voluntary Transport Service – a registered charity providing transport to the doctors’ surgery or for hospital appointments.

Mental Health Resource provides our local community with free unlimited mental health support, tools and the opportunity to connect with others, including a weekly Reachout get together.

A number of activities and groups are hosted. There is also a cafe.
Forget-me-not cafe – runs at the Eden Centre on the last Friday of every month, providing support and companionship to those who are recognising issues with their memory or cognition as well as their carers, family and friends.
Sevenoaks District Seniors Action Forum – an organisation with over 1200 members that supports the over 50s in the Sevenoaks District. It is run by volunteers and membership to the group is free.
West Kent Mind offers CREATIVE MINDS activities and wellbeing groups.
Games Club, Rickards Hall, Edenbridge
Every Monday 10am to 12midday for over 55s. Run by Edenbridge Town Council.
