Step into history and experience the charm of Edenbridge Thursday Market, a tradition dating back to the 13th century, when King Henry III granted a market charter to the Lord of the Manor in 1227. The site of a regular cattle market from the mid-1840s until 1928, the rings for tethering the cattle can still be found on the east wall.

Today, this vibrant weekly market continues to be a lively hub in the town, offering a fantastic variety of stalls and a welcoming atmosphere for both residents and visitors. Location and timings

The market takes place every Thursday from 8.00am to approx 2.30pm in Market Yard Car Park, just off the High Street. With free parking, electric vehicle charging points, and public toilets available, your visit is both convenient and enjoyable. Some traders, such as the fruit ‘n’ veg stall stay all day – for those popping by to collect orders after work.
