Streetlights

The Town Council is responsible for 251 street lights, which have only numbers on the columns.  If there is a problem with a light (numbered 001 to 251), please call us on 01732 865368 or email information@edenbridgetowncouncil.gov.uk 

Kent County Council is responsible for other street lights in the town, which have letters and numbers on the columns.  You can report a streetlight fault online or by calling 03000 418181.

Streetlight replacement programme

The Council has been upgrading old concrete light columns with modern columns and LED lights, which are more energy-efficient and cost-effective.

Bus shelters

The Town Council looks after five bus shelters in the town:

• Meadow Lane.
• High Street/Mill Hill – opposite The Old Eden.
• High Street/Mill Hill – east side.
• Mill Hill – by the old war memorial hospital.
• Swan Lane – by the The Swan.

All other bus shelters are either the responsibility of Sevenoaks District Council or Kent County Council depending on its location.
