Rickards Hall - Hire
Rickards Hall, nestled in a charming heritage courtyard just off Edenbridge High Street, is available for hire. Combining historic character with modern facilities, the venue provides a welcoming atmosphere for weddings, corporate functions, community gatherings, clubs, children’s parties, wakes, and family gatherings.
Facilities
The hire cost includes access to the kitchen, dishwasher, and crockery/cutlery, with hirers responsible for tidying up. Tables and chairs are available, and a presentation screen is also available for rent.
The hall can accommodate between 70 and 100 people, depending on the event type.
Hire rates start at £23 per hour, with a reduced rate of £12 per hour for youth and local charitable groups.
Any decorations/wedding furniture to be provided by the hirer.

Hall hiring fees 2026
For existing bookings and hire up to and including 31 August 2026.
General rate (Monday to Friday): £22.78 per hour
Weekend rate: £24.52 per hour
Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm: £74.97
Special Saturday night rate 6pm to midnight: £151.55
6pm to midnight if booked by the hour: £29.28 per hour
Commercial bookings: £33.21 per hour
Youth rate: £11.58 per hour
Presentation monitor screen: Enquire with booking
Fees effective 1 September 2026
Standard hire rate: £23 per hour
Youth rate and local charitable organisations : £12 per hour
Weekend rate:
- Community groups weekend hire (9am to 5pm): £50
- Standard weekend hire (9am to 5pm): £75
- Weekend evening hire (6pm to midnight): £150
Wedding/Events Weekend package: £250, plus £55 cleaning charge
Note: A cleaning charge may be added for large events. This includes where the hall is hired for community events.
All fees are reviewed annually, with increments considered to the nearest 50p, and implemented 1 January.
