Edenbridge Gardening Competition

We are proud to run a popular annual gardening competition in Edenbridge.

Due to its popularity when we first ran the competition in 2020, we have continued to run it every year since. Past year’s prizes have included gardening vouchers and attraction tickets.

It was initially launched as part of our work to help the local community recover from the coronavirus pandemic, with support from Kent County Council’s Covid-19 Local Recovery Fund.

There are lots of benefits to be gained from gardening, including:

  • Sense of achievement
  • Exercise and fresh air
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Home-grown produce
  • Social opportunities
  • Improvements to local environment
