Sevenoaks District Council has drafted a new Local Plan to cover the period up to 2040.
We would encourage all residents to find out more about the proposals and complete the consultation survey as the final Plan will shape the future of Edenbridge.
Members of the Town Council will also be reviewing the Plan and submitting comments.
The Local Plan addresses areas such as housing, schools, health and leisure, transportation, and the environment. It also looks at the use of business space and high streets, of which the district council’s vision for the town centre of Edenbridge can be found in the ‘Town Centres Strategy 2022’ document, pages 43-56.
