On behalf of Members of Edenbridge Town Council, the staff and the community, may I express our deepest sorrow to learn of the passing of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Please convey our sincere condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Members of the Royal Family.
HRH Prince Philip will be remembered as an outstanding ambassador for the country and Royal Family and a person who demonstrated extraordinary dedication and commitment to duty. The Duke of Edinburgh Award has helped many of the young people of Edenbridge to gain life skills, and long may this continue.
The residents of Edenbridge are united with the nation, during this period of mourning, and whilst we may not have known him personally, he is held affectionately in our hearts.
