CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19: DO YOU NEED HELP?  ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP?

Individuals requiring support/assistance: It is really important that all people who are requesting assistance register directly with SDC online, click here to register now. If you know of someone, but they cannot access the internet, perhaps you could help them to register.

Volunteers wanting to help people in our community during these difficult times need to will need to register with Sevenoaks District Council (SDC).  This will allow SDC to co-ordinate the response and ensure the appropriate checks are made. They will then match volunteers to people in the community who need support. Register here.  Volunteers may be able to help with shopping and other small tasks or become a buddy.

Sevenoaks District Council (SDC) is leading the co-ordinated response to support people in the community who need help with shopping and other small tasks. The volunteers will need to pre-register with SDC and they will match volunteers to individuals who need help. ETC volunteers will also need to register with SDC, and we will work together to best help those who are vulnerable and need help.  For more information visit https://www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/

Food Deliveries – SDC will be coordinating the delivery of food parcels to vulnerable residents across the District from next week.

Refuse Collections – SDC will continue with the household refuse collections and other waste management services as much at it possibly can. Please note that the Dunbrik waste transfer station (the ‘tip’) at Sundridge is now closed until further notice.
ETC will continue to empty the bins in at its opens spaces, but the frequency will be reduced.

Thank you to everyone in Edenbridge who is doing their bit during these very difficult times looking out for neighbours, abiding by the government guidelines and staying home.

Keep safe and well.
