Following November’s successful bids and awards, there is another opportunity to apply for CIL funding.
The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a fee that local authorities can impose on new developments to generate funding for infrastructure, facilities, and services in their area. Local community groups can apply to access a portion of the CIL funds managed by the Council for these purposes.
Previous awards have included:
- Eden Valley Museum – replacement display cabinet covers.
- Edenbridge Allotment Gardens Association – new replacement composting toilet.
- Edenbridge Cricket Club – new irrigation system.
- WI hall improvement works.

The deadline to apply is 5pm on Monday 19 January 2026. Members of the CIL Board will meet to decide on applications at their meeting on 23 February.
