The Council’s draft budget and precept for 2026-27, published in December, will be presented to Council for approval on Monday 12 January 2026.
It has been prepared against a backdrop of continued cost pressures affecting town and parish councils nationally. Councillors and officers have carefully scrutinised budgets to identify savings wherever possible, while aiming to protect the services and standards residents value.
If approved, the charge for a Band D property (for the services of Edenbridge Town Council ) in 2026-27 will be £212.64 – an increase of £11.56, or around 96p per month.
