Edenbridge Town Council’s free Family Fun Days are back after a year’s break.
There will be four Thursday afternoon sessions of fun and games in Stangrove Park (TN8 5LU) 2pm-5pm on July 29, and August, 5,12 and 19. The PlayPlace team are returning to run the activities, which include everything from crafts and games, to sports and face painting in a friendly, safe environment. Best of all, it won’t break the bank as all the activities are completely free.
The first date is being funded by Sevenoaks District Council as part of its district-wide summer programme – the other three sessions are provided by Edenbridge Town Council.
No booking is necessary as families can simply turn up and have fun!
Activities are aimed at children aged 12 and under, but they may not be suitable for very young children. Residents are urged to bring waterproofs, sunscreen and their own refreshments. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
The days are subject to current Coronavirus restrictions and the weather, so residents are advised to keep an eye on the Town Council’s website www.edenbridgetowncouncil.gov.uk (or SDC’s website www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/summerfun) or its Facebook and Twitter accounts before setting off.
Edenbridge Town Council is delighted to be supporting these fun days again, which have become a firm favourite with children, parents and anyone else who looks after children, providing a safe space to play, have fun and be creative.
Other sessions are available across the district to attend – see Fun Days Leaflet for more details.
