Visitors to Stangrove Park can now see a smart new display board by the pond. It was made by a local craftsman, and houses the painting which highlights the variety of wildlife which can be seen through the seasons around the pond.
From ducks and coots to dragonflies, newts and snails, bulrushes and blackberries, the picture of creatures and plants was created when the pond was reclaimed in the 1990s. The painting has been renovated by a talented local artist, who was involved with the Edenbridge Rocks project earlier this year. The colours are bright again, and slight damage no longer visible.
