Testing arrangements for the Sevenoaks district. SDC has no direct involvement in testing, however we are working with colleagues at Kent County Council Public Health, the latest information is that the Sevenoaks district is likely to get lateral flow testing delivered by the team at Kent County Council Public Health in January, they are starting to role this mass testing out in other areas of Kent, some with rates nearly three times those within the district.
It is also believe, but hasn’t yet been confirmed, that the national (PCR) testing regime will be deploying a mobile testing unit somewhere in the district from tomorrow for four days, this is for those showing symptoms as per the current testing regime and in addition you will be able to book at test without symptoms if you have a family member aged between 11 and 18, either for them or for family members living with them. These tests will apparently be bookable through the national portal from tomorrow (16th) for the period 16th-19th December and again for four days 27th -30th December.
