The travellers were served 24 hour notice by Edenbridge Town Council yesterday lunchtime and decided to leave of their own accord early yesterday evening. Sadly they have damaged both the cricket outfield and the square. The Council’s groundstaff will repair the outfield and the cricket club will repair the square. It is hoped that the ground will recover in time for the start of the season.
