Why report on 101?
It can seem a chore reporting antisocial behaviour etc. on 101 but it’s worth the wait.
If you see suspicious behaviour or suspect a crime it’s always worth reporting, it could be a key piece of info in a bigger picture.
You should call 101 to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response. For example, if:
• Your car has been stolen
• Your property has been damaged
• You suspect drug use or dealing in your neighbourhood
Or to:
• Give the police information about crime in your area
• Speak to the police about a general enquiry
If all these minor crimes go unreported then there is no crime number recorded and no extra PCSOs/ patrols.
So please do report to 101 and please hold!
Or report on Crime stopper anonymously https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/pre-form
You can report to Kent Police online too www.kent.police.uk/services/report-online/kent-police-online-reporting/
