In the summer we secured £110,000 CIL funding towards Pavilion improvements at the Recreation Ground.
This funding is for replacing the Pavilion’s aging heating and hot water boilers, ensuring the facility remains reliable, energy-efficient, and fit for community use long into the future.
The Council now seeks a contractor to carry out the work and is inviting tender bids by 5pm on 27 October 2025.
The tender has been written up by Intrinsic following an independent assessment/survey. The Council has since engaged Intrinsic’s services to prepare the Specification, and for the Procurement and Project Management.
