With local elections coming up in May, the Kent Association of Local Councils has arranged three online evening awareness events where you can find out more about what is involved in being a councillor. This is a good opportunity to ask questions and learn about the challenges and opportunities the role brings. You will learn about the contributions councillors make to local leadership and vision, and hear how rewarding the role can be.
