Cllr Richard Davison

It is with great regret that I have to advise you of the death in service of Councillor Richard Davison.  He passed away at home on Monday 8 January from a heart attack.    Richard had served as both a Town and District Councillor, and was twice Chairman of the Town Council, in 1991 and 2001. He had a keen interest in the development of sports in the town and the protection of the open spaces.   His extensive knowledge of planning and development, particularly in the Green Belt, were invaluable.   He will be sadly missed.
