The Edenbridge element of the Council Tax for 2018/19 has been agreed, it is a rise of £4.07 to £140.14 for the year. and increase of 2.99% on the Band D rate. This money is used to run local council services including maintaining parks, playgrounds, sports pitches, the Cemetery, two allotment sites and four children’s playgrounds. The council also maintains as community buildings. Doggetts Barn which houses the Visitor Information Point and Town Council Offices. The Council generates income from its assets, which help offset the amount needed from residents to provide services in Edenbridge and Marsh Green.
