This Dementia Action Week (18–24 May), we’re proud to continue supporting our Building Bridges to a Dementia Friendly Edenbridge initiative.
Creating a dementia-friendly community means making sure people living with dementia feel understood, supported and included in everyday life across our town.
We’re encouraging local businesses, organisations and community groups to get involved by registering with Kent Dementia Action Alliance for the Dementia Friendly Accreditation Scheme. You’ll receive free training as part of your pledge to become dementia friendly.
Small changes in understanding and communication can make a huge difference to someone living with dementia and their loved ones. By working together, we can help make Edenbridge a more welcoming, supportive and accessible place for everyone.
