There will a brief vigil held on Sunday 18 September, 8.00 pm at Doggetts Courtyard as part of the National Moment of Reflection to pay our respects to Her Late Majesty, The Queen.
Residents are invited to come together for this poignant moment to remember the late Queen Elizabeth II, at Doggetts Courtyard, or perhaps you may prefer to be with neighbours on your doorstep or with friends and family.
Gates will open at 7.45 pm and you should arrive in time for 7.55 pm in time for the Chairman of the Town Council to say a few words before the start of the one-minute silence at 8.00 pm which will be observed across the UK.
The Town Band will play the Last Post to mark the minute silence, and the Reveille afterwards. Following the short reflection vigil they will play the National Anthem, and attendees will be asked to join in and sing.
Doggetts Courtyard is accessed through gates off the High Street, between the Crown and the Museum, Edenbridge, TN8 5AR.
