Six more volunteers are needed to support the road closures for the remembrance parade this Sunday (12 November). Travellers Evicted

Thank you for your patience and understanding over the last few days when a number of car parks, parks and playgrounds have been locked down whilst the travellers were evicted from the Recreation Ground.   They were moved off early on Friday morning and currently have not been seen in the area.

Traveller Update

Council staff and the Bailiffs evicted the travellers from Marsh Green at 7.30am yesterday.  Eleven members of the council, staff and elected members, secured the Council’s land and prevented them from gaining access for a number of hours.   Marsh Green was cleared and all rubbish removed.  Unfortunately late morning they gained illegal access to the […]

The Travellers at Marsh Green have been served notice to move (30 August). The Council will  be using the Bailiffs to remove them.  Please make sure your land is secured as they have indicated they wish to stay in the area. Like the Town Council page on Facebook for latest updates.
