A public inquiry into the installation of a Solar Farm on Land at Skinners Farm is taking place at Sevenoaks District Council at 10am on Tuesday 15 December and may last two days. Representatives from the Town Council will be attending and objected to the proposal.
Having promised a decision on the location of a third runway by Christmas the Government has announced a delay and has firmly put the option of Gatwick back on the table. The decision is now not expected until Summer 2016. For further information please click here

8 year prison sentences have been handed down to two fly tippers who have been using the country lanes to dump rubble, old doors and washing machines. Sepp Blatter has been given the honour of being chosen as the Celebrity Guy for this years celebration. The evening starts at 6.30 with a torch lit procession.
