8 year prison sentences have been handed down to two fly tippers who have been using the country lanes to dump rubble, old doors and washing machines. Lingfield Road will be closed Monday 17 August for two days whilst the drain in the High Street is replaced. Kent Highways hope that this will resolve the horrible smell that has intermittently plagued the High Street for ages. Sorry for the inconvenience but lets hope that this finally sorts it out.
