It’s National Allotments Week (11-17 August) – the perfect time to celebrate the green spaces right here in Edenbridge!
Earlier this year we awarded a CIL grant to the Edenbridge Allotment Gardens Association to replace the old storage garage door at Forge Croft, which has now been installed.
Plot officer Peter says: “Truebuild have done a really good job and we now have doors that are safe for everyone to use. We are always looking for volunteers and we hope that by improving the facilities we have, it will encourage more people to help out with tasks such as mowing and managing our small shop.”
Edenbridge has two allotment sites – one at Forge Croft and one at Swan Lane (currently full). Whether you’d like to rent a plot for yourself or help out with the Community Garden project that is subsidised by the Council and run by Eden Grows Community Garden, we’d love to hear from you.
