Easter waste collections

Sevenoaks District Council is responsible for collecting your household waste.

Following the Easter bank holiday, there may changes to your rubbish, recycling and garden waste collection days.

  • Good Friday, 7 April – no change – collections will take place as usual on this day.
  • Easter Monday, 10 April – all collections this week will be one day later than usual until Saturday 15 April.

Residents are asked to put their sacks out by 7am on their collection day.

Bulky Waste collection – Saturday 21 January

A good clear-out at the start of a new year always feels great, doesn’t it?!

If you have any bulky items to get rid of, the bulky waste collection vehicle will be doing the rounds in Edenbridge on Saturday 21 January:

  • CHURCH STREET (THE PLAT JUNCTION) 9.15am-9.45am
  • SKEYNES ROAD (BY THE GREEN) 10am-10.30am
  • STANGROVE ESTATE (PARK VIEW CLOSE) 10.45am-11.15am
  • SPITALS CROSS ESTATE (FIRCROFT WAY near Farmstead Drive) 11.30am-12 noon

Please ensure you wait with your rubbish until the vehicle arrives. The sites will be closely monitored for fly-tipping.

The service cannot take electrical appliances/metal/hard core/compostable garden waste/large panes of glass/oil or paint.

Get rid of your bulky waste this July

The bulky waste vehicle will be visiting Edenbridge on Saturday 30 July.

Collections will be made from:

Church Street (the Plat junction) 9.15am – 9.45am
Skeynes Road (by the green) 10.00am – 10.30am
Stangrove Estate (Park View Close) 10.45am – 11.15am
Spitals Cross Estate (Fircroft Way near Farmstead Drive) 11.30 – 12noon

The Town Council is pleased to continue funding this service as we know a lot of residents, especially those that are unable to go to ‘The Tip’, find it very helpful.

The service cannot take electrical appliances, metal, hard core, compostable garden waste, large panels of glass, oil or paint. Please wait with your items until the vehicle arrives. The collection areas will be closely monitored in advance for fly tipping.

SATURDAY 22nd JANUARY – A BULKY WASTE VEHICLE WILL VISIT:

PLEASE ENSURE YOU WAIT WITH YOUR RUBBISH UNTIL THE VEHICLE ARRIVES

THE SERVICE CANNOT TAKE ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES/ METAL/ HARD CORE/ COMPOSTABLE GARDEN WASTE/ LARGE PANES OF GLASS/ OIL OR PAINT

The areas the collection visits will be closely monitored for fly tipping.
